Remember and Live

Deuteronomy 4 takes place after the Israelites have wandered in the Wilderness for 40 years as a result of their unbelief. All of the men of that generation have passed away, and Moses is now preparing the next generation to enter the Promised Land. Moses calls on God’s people to remember God’s commandments, that they may live. Likewise, Jesus calls to remember what He has commanded us, specifically the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission, that we might live out our new life in Christ.
